As its says in the instruction letter, it works better if you leave the antenna wire coiled up. I installed my transmitter circuit board into an old Radio Shack Realistic radio with internals removed. I drilled a hole on the side for the input, installed & soldered a battery switch on the side & battery in the original radio battery compartment. The transmitter antenna wire is inside.

And I do enjoy listening to the available AM stations where I live. But this transmitter dramatically expands the types of programming I can listen to on my radio. I can stream anything to the Bluetooth receiver, and it will be transmitted to the radio. I am delighted with my experience with this shop! Really excellent.

The radio is gorgeous, even more so in person than as appears in the listing. It was shipped and packaged extremely well and a great value for the price. I haven't had a chance to pair my device(s) with the blue tooth speaker, but am confident if I have any questions or problems, the seller will be more than happy to help me! Great seller! Thank you!

I was really happy and still really happy with the item. It’s very clean and in really good shape for its age. They did a really great job of cleaning it up. Like they said they would in the description. It was wrapped really well in bubble wrap tightly succored in the box. Shipping was free which was wonderful. It was also a great price. But it was an auction.
