Your combination of exploration and combat game skills are all you have to make it out alive. Thanks to the "Foundation" gaming engine created by Crystal Dynamics, island adventure and treasure hunting may have never looked so good. You can enjoy beautifully rendered landscapes along with high quality game textures and models, and seamless full motion videos that make the most out of the Microsoft Xbox 360’s 500 MHz graphics processing power. You can see every leaf and vine as you traverse through the breathtaking jungles that cover the mysterious, unexplored island. You can feel the darkness surround you as you carry a flickering torch through dank caverns and a forgotten tomb. You can explore every nook and cranny in your search for treasure and survival. This landmark game can truly push Xbox 360 graphics to the next level. Players control the game through an over the shoulder, third person perspective. This view allows you to fully appreciate the motion capture technology animating the vividly detailed character models and gives a great angle on all the action. You can control Lara with ease as she climbs, zip, ducks, and dodges her way through a variety of beautiful and dangerous environments. The flexible combat system allows you to take your time and let Lara Croft conquer your enemies through stealth and cunning, or to charge in guns blazing. Lara has an arsenal of upgradeable weapons, from bows to assault rifles. You can customize your favorites into just the right tool to handle your enemies. With plenty of open, multi path locations, this game can be well suited to the multiplayer version of the action. Groups of survivors fight groups of scavengers in a variety of challenging modes and maps, with even more available through update and DLC. In games of Team Deathmatch, other players on the Microsoft Xbox 360 game network are split into teams of four. Each group vies for the most kills in a best of three scenario. Another mode, Private Rescue, finds the survivors in a desperate race to move medical supplies to a specific point on the map. The scavengers play to stop them and rack up kills. The third mode, Cry for Help, has survivors exploring the map in a search for the batteries their radios need as the scavengers attempt to defend them. With over 10 titles on a wide array of consoles, the Tomb Raider franchise is one of the most widely known console series successes in video games. "Tomb Raider" for Xbox 360 is packed with smooth and exciting combat and brilliant graphics.
