Could use improvements
Granted that this sauce maker is not a top quality or low end unit but it could use a bit of modification. The thumb screw which locks the strainer in place from rotating, does not sit flat on the grinder body. It sat on the tapered screw that the strainer is rotated on to tighten it up to the grinder body. It would have been better the strainer lip be longer so that the thumb screw threaded down behind the tapered screw. I processed cherry tomatoes with it and twice the strainer came off. Maybe another thumb screw on the other side would help or make the tapered screw taller with deeper nubs on the strainer to hold it in place. The red plastic auger should be longer inside the grinder body as the cherry tomatoes fell into the space between the end of the auger and the handle end. I believe the strainer fell off due the pressure to expel the seeds and skins. Lastly, the waste end cup should be designed to screw on rather than clips. I was afraid that the clips would break trying to take the waste end off for cleaning. In all, it’s a decent product for the money. If you’re planning on doing a lot of processing, pay more for a better unit.

Great item
This item is not without issues, it does tend to leak a few drops of juice as it is cranked but for the results this is of no consequence. Seed removed were a surprise, who knew raspberries had so many seed, used the expelled seed to make raspberry vinegar, so good all around. Vinegar will be used for salad dressings. Jam came out great it did have a seed or two, not every single one was removed.

Does the job!
This works well removing seeds from berries to make jelly. Takes a little time to set it up, but the suction cup worked well in holding it stable. My first use was with blackberries and it removed the seeds quite well and the jelly was delicious.

Love it.
Does what it says it supposed to do. Juice from one side and seeds and Peels at the other. Fast and easy to assemble and use. Absolutely love it. They shipped product very fast also.

Food Strainer
This is just the product I need. Can't wait for tomato season next year to make some homemade sauce. I wanted it to use for pumpkin. Haven't tried it yet but I'm sure it will work great.

works great
works as it is supposed to . You put the fruit in , turn the handle, the sauce comes out one place, the seeds and the peel comes out another place, so easy!

The Binford of Food Mills
Great tool for when a food mill is just too small. Can do 25lb batches of tomatoes easily and quickly. Not so great on getting the last bit of pulp from the mix, but does a great job of removing the bulk.

Good for the price
Not the best quality. Lots of toolmarks on the aluminum. But good enough quality for the price. Requires 2 passes of raw tomatoes to get all the juice out. Would recommend if you're just getting started.
