I could have got the smallest one for my dog but happy she can stretch all the way out. The 15 inch is perfect for my adult cat. I got it because i keep finding her snuggled in front of heater vent. this bed will fit perfect there. Wish i would have found them sooner. They are worth every cent. Fast shipping great seller. Not sure but it was too strong of a smell to chance with a tiny puppy laying in it. I set the puppy bed in the outdoor sunshine for a week to and it help.
