The Casio DW6900MS-1 G-Shock men’s wrist watch can be rugged enough for outdoor adventures but stylish enough for work. It was inspired by military watches, and it can share their sleek, classic look and full functionality. It can give you stopwatch action, multiple alarms, and the time and date in either daylight or low light conditions.The Casio G-Shock watches have black resin cases and straps. The cases are round with a 44 millimeter diameter that can make them easy to operate without calling too much attention to themselves. They are 16 millimeters thick and are bounded by fixed black bezels. Around the rim of the cases are four push buttons: split/reset, start/stop, mode, and adjust. The straps are 18 millimeters wide with metal hook buckle clasps. The Casio G-Shock watches have a digital display on a black dial. Their quartz movement is powered by a CR2016 battery that can be expected to last for up to two years under normal use. The Casio DW6900MS-1 G-Shock watch can be ideal for outdoor use. It is shock resistant, so you can concentrate on the trail or the action in the field without worrying about your watch. It is water resistant to 200 meters and mud resistant, so it can meet the challenge of harsh weather. In dim light, you can take advantage of the watch’s EL (electroluminescent) backlight with afterglow feature. A simple press of a button illuminates the G-Shock with an attractive blue green glow that lets you clearly see the dial. This men’s watch also lights up along with a buzzer when you set one of the alarm choices. You can set the alarm on the G-Shock to sound at a preset time when you need to wake up or remember an appointment. The hourly time signal can help keep you on track as you take note of the passing time. You can also set the alarm to sound the countdown timer or the time up counter. The countdown timer can be set for a full 24 hours, and you can choose to count by one second, one minute, or one hour increments. The alarms on these watches can be set for auto repeat so you do not have to remember to set the options you use regularly. The dial of the Casio G-Shock watch can show world time, and you can choose to check the time in either a 12 hour or 24 hour format. This model offers accuracy of plus or minus 15 seconds per month. It also has an auto calendar that shows the date, day, and month. The calendar is pre programmed until the year 2039. The date and time are shown in a single large window. This Casio DW6900MS-1 watch for men can offer a number of stopwatch features for tracking your own workouts or coaching someone else. You can measure in increments of one one hundredth of a second for the first 60 minutes, then increments of one second after that. You can track the full elapsed time of an activity and also break out the split times. If you are timing more than one person, the Casio G-Shock watch can give you the ability to capture 1st and 2nd place times.

    Black out, yes very much so...

    DW 6900MS 1CR model 1289 Impossible to tell the time at a glance, you basically have to look at your watch and then adjust your wrist to see the time, if your lucky and you are not in low light. I have a cheap Chinese S shock with the same black LCD that is much easier to read. Choose a different G shock model unless you truly want this particular military look, but keep in mind the sun still reflects of the screen like a mirror no matter what model you choose. Get the new module 3230 the calendar is updated to work till 2099 not 2039 like the older mod. and you can see it too!!!

    First G shock

    This is my first g shock I've always been a watch wearer and usually go with a timex analog but was ready for a change and it's worked out great its comfortable, rugged and looks good. I have had this one for a few weeks and actually bought another one to give as a Christmas gift next week. Both purchased off eBay

    Lost original one and found this on rvag

    I loved this watch when I got it around 2010. Unfortunately I lost it in 2014 leaving it in a fitting room. I always wanted another one but could never find it in malls. Then finally I thought about eBay and boom! Found it. Love the watch.

    I needed a tactical watch for outdoor activities and I have been looking at the G shocks, because they are stylish and reminds me of when I was a lil kid, the watch looks cool! Has alarms, stopwatch and a few other options...the watch was delivered promptly and the price was great! Thank you!
