Good optional advice. Take note.
This product is designed for stacking all 5 auto-lifts. The one on the top is fastened with screws to the base as shown. The other 4 auto-lifts do not have tapped mounting holes in case you want to mount them to another base (you'd have to drill your holes in those bases). Not only that, you'd have to find your own mounting screws like in the above assembly. What I did was drilled my mounting holes in existing bases by placing an existing auto-lift base with holes in it over a base without holes and used that as a drilling gauge. I then mounted the auto-lift to the base (with vehicles mounted), turned it upside down, and applied rubber cement (get it at CVS) at the assembled holes. When that dried, I applied another coat of rubber cement and let that dry. Pretty strong. The nice thing about this application is that if you ever want to take it apart, with some effort, the auto-lift pulls apart from the base. Then, the rubber cement is very easy to rub off so you can reapply a new application of rubber cement. It's almost easier than using screws.

Difficult to stack/align, will fall apart unless glued together. For M2 cars only
The fitment between levels is poor, they do not stack securely unless you glue them; and you have to bend/twist them to fit each other which is not easy to align. The platforms are made specifically for M2 vehicles that have the screw mounts. This is good for M2 (which are generally poor quality and not for me), but not for other cars. I'll need to remove the screw mounts for my cars to sit correctly. I like that they are metal and once I modify them, they should be fine.

The legs/stands & notches that align with the bottom rack don’t line up and wobble, put cars on that and it’s falling over. Money down the drain.
