Has rise which needs pulling off prior to washing /flick carding but it’s such good fleece I’m spinning it in the grease! Fine and ULTRA soft. Lovely!!! The photos show it without it even being washed - I’ve literally just pulled the rise off at the butt end and have flick carded it! Gorgeous. And it came with a leaflet about the rare breeds they farm, which is such a lovely touch!

I rinsed a section a few times - didn’t use any soap, and it spun up beautifully - very soft and fluffy, beige-white. I also felted a small amount and it was similarly successful. Well worth the price.
