The navigator announces the name of streets and exits as you’re approaching them, enabling you to choose the correct lane. You can also create custom POIs, including school zones and airport terminals. Proximity alerts warn you when a point of interest is approaching.Safety features from the Garmin Nuvi 750 can give you peace of mind while on the go. With the GPS device, you can keep track of your car as well as yourself. Tap the “Where Am I” button to find nearby hospitals, gas stations, and police stations. The Garmin GPS also displays the current address and nearest intersection as well as latitude and longitude coordinates. The navigator can even remember where you parked, saving you the hassle of searching for your vehicle. The unit marks your position when it’s removed from the windshield mount, allowing you to navigate back to your car while on foot.     garmin nuvi 750

    So happy to find this Garmin that fits my Nissan truck and replaces my original garmin. the only querk it seems to have, I turn the Garmin to the off position, next trip out, start my truck up and the Garmin turns on!!!

    Cheap but reliable GPS navigation for the car

    A basic GPS route planner that gives step by step, clear directions by voice and display. Small screen but legible. Easy to mount to windshield with provided suction cup holder. Easy to download map updates from Garmin via the Internet using the USB cable that came in the box.

    Great product for the value price

    Honestly I didn't expect this product to perform such greatly! No problem with the touchscreen. Spend a bit to understand the functions, updated the maps to current one and did a hard reset to ease the satellite locating and that's it. Since then it's working superbly. Really happy with the product. Great!!

    old model but ok

    This Garmin 750 has been discontinued but fits my needs as it replaces my old 750 that I use on my motorcycle. It seems a bit slower than my old one.

    hard to put the two pieces together.

    it would not go together (ball on socket) it had a metal ring in the Socket that would not expand so I removed it and it worked fine.
