My wife Unwound the chord from one of these and Rewound it onto an OEM Spool housing = Auto-Feed. I wish post-er had stated WHAT is "Manual Feeding". Only logic is Remove housing and un-wrap small amount of chord / replace housing? Learned quickly Chord hates concrete - brick and runs out rapidly IF you're not careful what it touches. Volume & price got it a 4 stars but Manual Feed sounds awful.
