    A brave nostalgic adventure by the author/illustrator into the lives of his parents, their lifelong marital journey, including his birth and road to adulthood in their care. Beautifully rendered. Captured pre and post war with tenderness and the heartbreak of loss. It’s not just a cartoon ! Bravo to one of our best contemporary greats.

    Hi WOB does a wonderful job and I buy many of your books. This book was great in every aspect, except it did not have the cover shown in the add. I really wanted the cover shown in the add, so I was very disappointed. Talk about "judging a book by its cover!!!!" Just as an aside, I have ended up with many dupicate books in this way, especially text books. At one point I had 12 dupicated text books! Frustrating.

    Witty true story with brilliant illustrations.

    Fabulous story telling of historical events and how people lived in the past. My grandson aged 10 loves this and said it has brought historical events to life.

    Real life story beautifully and gently told

    I love the graphics on this DVD and Raymond Briggs tells the story of his life, truthfully, but sensitively. I really enjoyed it and am sure others will. EuRache
