The best watch at this price
Unless you got huge wrists, chances are, this is your perfect watch at this price range. It is an automatic, so it will never be as accurate as a quartz watch, but the quality will blow your mind. I like it more every single day - the finer details, the comfort, the perfect case size and man, oh man, have you seen those perfect contours? The black dial will look rich chocolate brown under direct sunlight, and the hands pick up even the slightest glimpses of light, making it very easy to read. And there is some lume too. Put it on a quality leather strap, and it will look even better. It works as a dress watch, as a sporty watch or even more as an everyday watch. I do find myself comparing it favorably to watches at ten times its price. Yes, it is that nice. My one runs at around plus 4 ... ... Both the SARB033 and SARB035 have been discontinued. Which means plenty of folks are offering these for sale at obscene and inflated prices given their MSRP of ~$375. Keep looking for a fairly priced model. The dial is an inky, seeming bottomless black yet in sunlight it has a barely perceptible sunburst pattern and may even appear to be a very dark and rich brown. Everything about this classic and deservedly lauded watch is perfectly proportioned. The 38mm diameter and curved lugs make it very comfortable to wear. The dauphinois hands and very slender second hand are well finished , shining and sparking in direct light. The only potential (minor) letdown for some might be the bracelet. While of robust quality (yes, the end links are solid), the finishing on the bracelet isn’t quite ... ... Both the SARB033 and SARB035 have been discontinued. I have replaced the original with a Strapcode Oyster bracelet that is a perfect compliment to the SARB033 and adds most welcome heft to the overall pairing. For those looking for that smooth sweep of the second hand, bear in mind that the movement runs at 6 beats per second and not the 8 beats per second that you’d find in a typical ETA-2824, Selita or Motorola movement. However, the modest 38mm diameter makes the 21,600 kHz movement less noticeable. I was stoked to add this to my modest collection, and now have both the 033 and 035. They are both keepers.

Beautiful simple watch with great finish and timeless elegance
This is a classic high quality dress watch at a great price. This watch works well with many watch bands. I have medium sized wrist and the watch is slightly on the small size ...but has great classic look and cool retro feel.

Great Everyday Watch
The SARB033 is a great everyday watch, on any kind of strap besides maybe rubber. Deep black dial with striking indices and hands, a well-executed date window, and a very thoughtful design throughout. Glad to find one in great condition, since it is a discontinued model. If you can find one, get one!

Great watch, horrible clasp
This is a great watch in most respects. It's got sapphire glass, hacking, amazing quality case, pretty accurate. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is the clasp. The clasp has only 2 micro-adjustments so I can never get a perfect fit. It also bulges out pretty far leaving a weird gap.
