These work very well. Great replacements!
This is the second set of surrounds, that I’ve purchased from this company. The first set was for some Mirage 8” speakers, and this set was for some Advent 4” speakers. They work and sound as good as new. They also provide more than enough glue. Some other companies can be a bit skimpy on the glue, leaving you wondering if you’ll have enough. This definitely isn’t the first speakers I’ve re-coned, or replaced the surrounds on. I’m glad that companies like this exist, so that we can continue to enjoy these classic speakers. Quick, easy, and fantastic results!
Infinity center surround speaker purchased in 1996–they don’t make it anymore. Replacement speaker would have cost ~$350. Instead I spent $22 and a few hours later I was back to listening to 3/2.1 which sounded better than it did years ago. Silly me for not correctly setting the center crossover on my amp—I blew apart the foam on this expensive speaker. Now I’m back to better-than-normal. Very easy to replace—if you know how to read instructions and have an Allen wrench handy you can do it. I always heard about replacing damaged or worn out "surrounds" but thought it was a job for some speaker geek. When I heard one of my Advents buzzing I popped off the grill and saw the foam more or less gone. I loved this little speakers and decided to try and save them. (after purchasing others complete speakers on Ebay that turned out to be in the same condition or with blown tweeters!) Super easy to do, Videos on youtube also. Once you do one you'll realize this is no big deal. With a little patience I was able to transform an useable pair of Paradigm Atoms into great sound speakers. Fun project with a big reward.
