    It's more deserving of the Star Wars title than VII, VIII & IX

    Fairly good entry into the Star Wars movie franchise providing some good entertainment value and will even say that it ranks higher than the Disney Star Wars trilogy (Force Awakens, Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker) but still falls short of the many other Star Wars movies. The producers did try to cater to the large Solo fanbase by making sure that this Han Solo would definitely shoot first. Alden Ehrenreich does have a rogue boyish charm about him but fails to capture it the way Harrison Ford did when he played the role, but that doesn't necessarily make it a bad movie. In the Star Wars universe, Rogue One did a great job expanding on the Star Wars universe, but don't expect that from this movie. Rogue One was able to make the audience see how suppressive the galaxy is under ...

    SOLO Star Wars Story

    Very much in keeping with the Star Wars franchise; imaginative and plenty of action; interesting characters; great backstory for Han Solo and friends. It took longer than expected to get the delivery; strange routing from point of origin.

    I LOVE This Movie; I Don’t Care What Anyone Says!

    I’m old enough that I remember seeing the original Star Wars films on their opening nights way back in 1977. My birthday is May 27th, and all the movies pretty much opened on Memorial Day weekend. ANYWAY, just saying I think I’m qualified to make a judgment call. “Solo” is strangely filmed a bit DARK, not its subject material but its film quality, but otherwise, I thought Ron Howard did a great job picking up the pieces with a quirky, young cast, and some very interesting possible side plots. But then, UNBELIEVABLY, NO SEQUEL! EVERYTHING gets a sequel these days! Don’t get me started! THAT is my greatest complaint about the movie! Otherwise, I love it!
