    Great protection, but..

    I was happy to get this 2 years ago for my phone. 3 things I don’t like about the case is 1, around the ear piece is open from the case and around that opening the case rubbed a nice scratch pattern in the glass of the phone. With the case on, you don’t see it, but when it’s off, you’ll see the outline of the hard plastic case that rubbed up on the glass. 2, eventually the charging port flaps get very soft and pliable. Hard to open once the rubber loses its strength. 3, the screen protector seem to scratch easy and after a while becomes oily. I’m guessing they recommend taking the phone out of the case when charging which I don’t do. It’s not perfect, but still good protection for your phone.

    OtterBox Defender Rugged iPhone 5 iPhone 5s iPhone SE Case w/Holster Belt Clip

    This case does an excellent job of fully protecting my iPhone. It also gives that added bonus of making the phone easier to hold due to its non-slip finish. I've been using Otter Box cases for all my phones since I can remember. I plan on continuing using them in the future.

    Great case!

    I’ve had otter box case (defender) on my phone for over 3 years now and it has never failed me! It might be heavy for some but I love the fact that I never have to worry about my phone screen cracking or anything else breaking

    It’s great protection

    But the belt clip only lasts 1-2 yrs then usually the clip itself breaks. But I keep buying them. This is my third or fourth one and I love it. Great for watching stuff on the phone with the clip stand.

    Hey Otterbox, some of us still prefer to use a corded headphone.

    Deducted a star because no hole for the headphone jack. Sure, I could leave the flap up, or cut it off entirely, but that seemed like a rather inelegant hack of a otherwise nice case. I got so frustrated at this oversight that I ended up drilling a hole about 4mm from the hole ALREADY THERE for the mic. Not fun.
