Absolute requirement if you're new to World of Warcraft
This is the first volume in a chronological history of the lore of World of Warcraft. As a new player, I found it indispensable for putting the gameplay into context. Stuff began to make sense, and I understood what I was doing. I also recommend the series for veteran/returning players who are more familiar with the game but might not be completely up to par regarding the lore. Currently they've released the first three volumes, which cover the game through the Cataclysm expansion. Additional volumes will be released until they're caught up.

Good source material
Not only a chronicle but an excellent data source for new players. Level appropriate areas and where to find materials for leveling professions. Very helpful for those explorers wanting the full experience.

So much lore
Covers the entire history of Wow before the 1st video game. After reading, a lot of missing pieces of info tied together all the loose ends between expansions. So interesting to read, I learned elves were descendants from trolls who knew
