Is it entertaining they ask? Not sure if I would call a puzzle entertaining!
I bought so far 4 of these puzzles that you get to solve a mystery. The mysteries are kind of lame for the most part but still a slight new twist to doing puzzles. I just set right about making the puzzle the way I approach all puzzles. No photo of the actual puzzle is provided so you just need to set your border and sort your pieces for the color or designs you use as clues in most puzzles. So far two are 500 pieces two are 1000 pieces. The more pieces actually just means smaller pieces they aren't much bigger like usually happens. I do puzzles outside when weather permits on a covered patio. And I make cardboard covers big enough to hold the puzzles and allows me to move and protect a puzzle in the making in a blnk of an eye if weather or other situations mean it's prudent to do so. I also use large clamshell covered clear boxes with cardboards cut to fit in them to sort by colors and often work bits of the puzzle together before sliding off onto the main puzzle itself. So I do all this for these puzzles and once the puzzle is together and I get to see the MYSTERY for me as what the puzzle's image really is then and only then I get a nice ice tea and sit outside oon a rocking glider and enjoy reading the story and attempt to solve the mystery. So all is great in the puzzle world. And these are not for everyone who relies on photos to put them together. I rarely bother with the image on the box but now and again I have used it to help sort out where a bit goes in a large puzzle to help me work in more complicated puzzles. These just aren't that complicated. I enjoy them though I also enjoy challenges which is why I do puzzles. I read books for entertainment. Not sure why they ask if a puzzle entertains or not? I enjoy however and feel satisfied when it's completed. Do remember the image on the box is not the image of the puzzle.
