Synopsis
First monograph from the award-winning New York-based architectural firm Foreword by the Pulitzer Prize-winning architectural critic Paul Goldberger Skolnick Architecture + Design Partnership: Public/Private presents the first monograph from the award-winning New York-based architectural firm. Covering over 40 years of work, the book - presented in a unique double-sided, two-cover format - exhibits projects in both the public and private sectors. Included in the public section is a sprawling center for entrepreneurial education, a science center built in an old turbine hall, a sky-lit synagogue, two colorful and bright public libraries, and a children's museum inspired by Leonardo da Vinci. The private side features a serenely spatial six-story townhouse, a sublimely linear beach house, a residence and matching studios for two painters, and luxurious twin villas in Anguilla. With text by principal architect Lee Skolnick, and a foreword by Pulitzer Prize-winning architectural critic Paul Goldberger; each chapter provides valuable insight into the extensive planning and highly intellectual process that goes into each project. Skolnick Architecture + Design Partnership: Public/Private celebrates the accomplishments of a firm still operating at the top of their game., * First monograph from the award-winning New York-based architectural firm* Foreword by the Pulitzer Prize-winning architectural critic Paul GoldbergerSkolnick Architecture + Design Partnership: Public/Private presents the first monograph from the award-winning New York-based architectural firm. - e***r (1025)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzte 6 MonateBestätigter KaufThis was a true positive customer experience, of old! The product arrived early, wrapped professionally, out of weather elements, a true value. But my player is not playing the dvds. I contacted the seller. No problem!! I can return them. What courtesy. What fast response. I was refunded BEFORE I sent the dvds back. It is clear this seller puts the customer BEFORE profit!! Outstanding! I'm telling everyone!! My colleagues will be watching for this seller!! Wel Done!!
- l***l (6)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzte 6 MonateBestätigter KaufThe shipping was a bit slow as it took almost a week and a half to arrive. However, it came in perfect condition with the packaging very secure! The item came as described with a few marks and wrinkles, but its exactly like a new book from how good the condition is. There's nothing wrong with it inside the pages, only on the dust cover. For the money I paid for these two books that I have been searching for, I don't regret purchasing from them! I would love to buy from them in the future.
