Perfect film to show how the Consumer is the one being consumed! Great Horror Truth
Truly a horror film. Why is it so horrifying? Because it shows you just how easy it is to manipulate the entire masses into doing and being what you want. If you have control over mass media and enough flare and glitter/shine, you can make anything-no matter how bad-look just wonderful. This film reveals just how people, in general, don't think for themselves and how they are mostly pleasure seekers, without regard to the long term affects of such pleasure seeking. This film its self serves an analogy in between us and how we are all collectively manipulated into constant limitless consumerism; despite the various limits of products glamorized, in order to consume to fill a void within us, to no avail. The horror of it all is depicted by a strange unknown white substance, used in place of all various so called goods that the masses constantly chase after, in order to have so called fulfillment, only to find themselves consumed in the end.
