value for money great music device, but your phone does evertying else.
it does what is on the tin. very old apple tech now but a great price makes up for it. it is a excellent music device for music fans like me that will connect to anything and be reliable. does basic other stuff okay, but that's what your phone is for. in conclusion if you need a stand alone music carrier for car, walk, sport, travel , or connection to various speakers and ear pods , it doesn't get more effective and simple than this.

Great memory capacity
This is the second one we have bought. The generation number does not worry us, we just wanted the 128GB memory to download even more music. We only bought a second one for our daughter for Xmas. The one I have is great an does all it should do.

What the iPod classic should have been. This is a good performer that matches all the other apple devices in its use. Thin and easy to use. Just do not lose it, it is so light!

Everything you want & more
Bought to replace an older lost product. Does everything I wanted it to do plus so much more. The lay out is basically the same & is very easy to set up & use. With the inclusion of iMessage & faceTime it is an iPhone without the phone. The inclusion of front & rear camera means I don't have to carry so much around while touring. The 128GB storage means I don't have to compensate between photo's or music. Love this buy, probably the best buy I have made this year.

Very good display but battery life should be better
Very good display. Easy to use and to buy apps. Battery life is poor compared with simple mp3 players.
