It's a comedy/ action/ horror [zombie] film, which ='s big FUN.
I liked this film so much that after renting it, I bought it. Some of the finest characterization ever. Great film work, outstanding script, excellent acting, all wrapped up in "FUN!!!" Really good action. Some highly original situations. There are a couple of scenes that make "Scout's Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse" for adults and older teens. These deal with sexual content and of course violence. I have many 'zombie' films, and they all go into my 'zombie section'; except for this film. "Scout's Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse" goes into the 'comedy section' [neither "Shaun of the Dead" or "Zombieland" Make it out of the 'zombie section'.] Thus: "Scout's Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse" is a 'Zomedy'. "Scout's Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse" runs with a similar feel to "Kick-Ass". But instead of being an action/ fantasy/ comedy it's a comedy/ action/ horror [zombie] film.
