Captivating Read!!!
This is the most extensive book I have found that details the life of herbs from seed to table. I learned new ways of planting and cultivating my herbs to gain the most benefits from them. Drying my herbs for herbal remedies became a new adventure for me. My recipes became an entirely new flavorful experience because of the new mixture of herbs I learned how to use. Without the knowledge I learned in this book I would still be using the old staple of herbs I had always relied on. I never knew I was missing so much and am so thankful I stumbled upon this book. Thank you so much for the hard work you put into compiling the extensive inormation enclosed in this book. Excellent job!

Herbs, Spices & Flavorings Encyclopaedia
Book is out of print but this copy was like new. I got it as a gift for a couple who both cook. The content is interesting and I think very useful for creative, serious cooks. It's also a beautiful book.

More Book than Expected
I was expecting some information on herbs and spices. This book includes so much more. Fruits, vegetable flavorings, Edible leaves and flowers. Oils, Vinegars, Sauces, Preserves, Condiments. Not to mention Drinks including Coffee Tea and spice drinks. 750 full color photos.

Damaged
Love the book, but the way it was shipped to me was insulting, disappointing and damaging. It arrived wrapped only in thin plastic. The corners are beaten down. It is obvious, once it was paid for, it no longer warranted any care.

I highly recommend this book,
One of the best books out there for the beginner and the well practiced herbalist. An easy read and very informative.

Not a cookbook but oh, so much more...
This is a must have for the cook that likes to use herbs, spices, flavorings and wants to expand their knowledge and use of them.

The mother of all herb and spice books
Best book purchase in a long time- it really is an awesome reference book. I purchased the hard cover, it’s large and jam packed with info.
