Her classic blue dress, signature Wedgwood jewelry, matching elegant dangling earrings, white silk gloves, and ribbons in her hair really make Barbie beautiful and confident as the life of the ball among the many guests. Her night out at the Queen's ball is made possible with help from the designer Robert Best. He designed and created this particular Barbie's evening gown and fashion look.Adorned in her beautiful blue dress, this Barbie is completely stunning. The gown is a full-length strapless piece made of satin material. The full two-layered skirt with a hoop underneath swoops around the elegant feet of Barbie. Her small waist is accented by a large matching bow along the back of the dress. A white snowflake and lace-like embroidered design on the bodice and around the skirt add to the elegance of the dress. She also has the long elbow-length silky white gloves that were all the rage in 1759.The Barbie doll's very dark hair is swept up into an elegant 1700s-style updo. Tiny curled bangs gently lie across her forehead. Her hair is secured in its updo with ribbons that match the dress and highlight her delightful face. The doll's elegant makeup is flawlessly painted on as if a real professional makeup artist did her look for the evening. She has blue smoky eye makeup and long black lashes that bring out the color of her eyes. The high arched brows over her eyes give her an even more glamorous appearance. Her lips are a pale petal pink in color. The cheeks are lightly brushed over with a soft peach blush hue.As a limited-edition Barbie made in 2000, the Wedgwood Barbie doll has the pleasure of wearing an authentic Wedgwood Jasper cameo set within her faux-pearl choker necklace. Four loops of pearls form the elegant necklace. The jewelry set is complete with the charming pearl earrings that dangle on either side of her face.The box for this Wedgwood Barbie doll is in a display-style setup. This way, any collector can place it on display easily without having to open it. Inside the container, Barbie is propped up to stand on her own and show off her elegant dress. The box is framed with an elegant design to match the 1700s style of her beautiful dress. The front of the packaging is printed with the iconic Wedgwood logo and the date 1759. The back is printed with a brief history of Wedgwood stoneware and jewelry.
