    A Huge Planet of the Apes Fan

    I'm an Old School P.O.T.A. fan, and have been a pretty stern critic of the movies over the years, and would religiously say 1, 2, & 4 were the cream of the classic Roddy Mc Dowell movie series. Didn't much care for the M. Wahlberg re-make although it did have its moments, the battle scene at the end is mad cool. However with "Rise", and the exemption of J. Lithgow being mis-cast, the genre is clearly back on track. "Dawn" is very well acted and the script is brilliantly written, some of the C.G.I. fight scenes are a bit long winded for my taste, and the producers / directors would have obviously made a few of the battle scenes more graphic and violent had they not had to desperately protect the precious PG-13 rating. Watch this movie even if you are not familiar with the P.O.T.A. story ...

    Awesome movie...

    Didnt care for the first one. This one leads up beautifully to the last one War for the Planet of the apes. This one shows how much Caesar and his clan have developed. Maurice is my fave. Great movie.

    Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

    I had shied away from the Planet of the Apes series of movies thinking they would not hold my interest. I was wrong! I have found the most current releases to be well worth the time to view and to enjoy the well thought out story line, the acting with special effects and the realism of the apes. The most recent release currently showing, did an excellent job of wrapping up lose ends and bringing the series to a conclusion. In fact, it was the most recent release that prompted the purchase of the prior three in the series. Highly recommend viewing the series.

    APES!

    I’m a big fan of all the Planet of the Apes movies. The cases were in good shape, with original inserts, discs were in pristine condition, no scratches.

    Good writing good acting and the apes are great. Almost to life like. Well worth the money!
