If you think you were born in a too late era go back to life in the 50s and 60s with MadMen!
This entire production and every part of it was as well done as anything on TV since 1930. The story is highly engaging, taking place during the dawn of modern advertising post war USA. This drama is wrapped in the cloth of an industry started in London in 1850 by a young man just getting into the advertising business, such as it was in the mid-19th century. A hundred years later Don Drapper comes along and with the excellent acting of the rest of the cast, the writing genus of Matthew Weiner brings it all to life. To put what is essentially a $100,000,000 project in a small box along with two tumbler glasses right off the booze cart out of Don Drapper's office is a gift to us fans. If you like this show you must own it in this format. VERY well done and very well thought out for the fans who are devoted to great TV making. Well done folks. WR

Pretty Ho-Hum
I would have burned out pretty quickly if I had tried to keep up with this series when it originally aired one episode a week for 6 or 7 years. I am part way into season 3 and I'm not sure if I'll make it to the end or not. I suppose if Soap Operas are your thing this series might be more to your liking but it's not my idea of top notch entertainment.

Exactly what we were looking for.
Everything we were expecting! Nice collector's item for my partner who is a longtime fan of the show. Plus, you get a code to watch all of the episodes online instead of having to put a new DVD in every few episodes.

Packaged extremely well !
The packaging of this DVD set is really well done. The DVD's are in a beautiful book-like container with a description of each DVD per season. The enclosure of the 2 drink glasses & coasters was an added bonus. Very pleased with the purchase.

Mid century modern
Compelling, fascinating character development. The visuals of time and place of 1960 sets the mood quickly.

Mad men is the best!
I don't know what rock I was under when this series came out, but boy is it exciting! Brings me right back to when I was a kid growing up in the 60's and early 70's

Fabulous Walk Through the Sixties!
Aside of The Sopranos, Mad Men is my favorite series of all time. Characters are ALL incredibly talented and the story lines are very interesting. The nostalgia provided by the sets, clothing, dialogue is memory-stirring. It is a must see for anyone who was alive during the 1960's!
