    A brand new sealed import CD digipak was purchased and shipped on 8-8 and delivered by USPS Ground Advantage on 8-13. Item arrived undamaged and was as described and pictured in the listing. CD was shipped inside a small flat cardboard box with small pieces of cardboard for filler. Box was then placed inside an unpadded plastic envelope for final delivery.     An excellent way to view the fun and campy classic Sci-fi series

    Glorious HD nostalgia here. Watching this series as an adult I can appreciate things I barely noticed when I was a child. The women... the great music... the inuendo. Overall it is still quite fun viewing even if more than a few of the special effects are far from special and the plots can get a bit corny. It's is good to see Wilma and Buck in action again.

    WARNING - some features don't play well on US Blu-ray players like the movie version

    From my communication with the manufacturer: Some of the content on this release was encoded in the original source frame rate of 25fps, to preserve the authenticity and integrity of the material. If your playback device or TV does not support 25fps, an error is likely to occur when viewing disc content encoded at 25fps. Certain US blu-ray players and TVs are compatible with 25fps

    Disco meets Hi-Def: Buck Rogers in the 25th Century

    From 1979 to 1981, this classic Sci-fi tv series was a natural follow up for producer Glen Larson's Battlestar Galactica. The latter had been cancelled for being too expensive, so he gathered those props, repainted some sets and created Buck Rogers, an early 20th century comic strip hero which he re-invents here as a wisecracking thirty something in tight clothing. The good? And I'm talking Blu Ray here, folks. The transfer looks amazing: bright colors and deep blacks, the soundtrack sounds clean and free of useless noise. The outrageous costumes pop (lots of glitter and spandex) and the action sequences are fairly exciting. The Bad: During special effects scenes, the transfer is softer, almost cloudy; laser battles and space dogfights could look better. The special features are almost ...

    Yay Buck and Wilma!

    Blu-rays work perfectly on my ps4 system and look beautiful and crisp! Loved this show as a child and continues to entertain me to this day.
