    Great Capra Movies

    In this cynical age, it's nice to be able to go back to movies that celebrate the best in us and remind us of "our better angels". "You Can't Take It With You", for example, shows us there are more important things in life than slaving for the almighty dollar. "Mr. Smith Goes To Washington " makes us remember what government is supposed to be about. You can't go wrong with this wonderful set.

    Must have for Film Enthusiasts!

    Great video collection of Frank Capra’s films this has been a very good companion to Capra’s autobiography “The Name Above the Title” of which I’m currently reading. Love the behind the scenes interviews w Capra’s son!

    Capra: an American Classic!

    This set offers five dvds and four of our personal favorites, we were looking for a good buy and this is excellent in terms of variety and quality. Capra chose story that touch upon the heartstrings and core values of what even today continues to define the best in American values and ideals, combine that with his remarkable direction, definitive camera work, timeless performances, biting and witty dialogue that delights and you have the stuff of cinema magic.

    Great collection of films!

    Capra directed some of most entertaining movies of all time.comedies, dramas , even documentaries. This collection includes 5 of his best as well as info about the director himself , his storied career, and film history in general. Loved it!

    Frank Capra ultimately makes me feel good about being a human, but it's not easy.

    Capra is inspirational and unnervingly timeless.
