    It arrived quickly. It was shipped in a plastic bag with no padding. The bag was torn and allowed moisture to get inside the packaging. It was also quite misshapen since the mailman curved it up to leave in our mailbox. I can’t tell if there is new damage or not so I am a bit disappointed. I know there was some damage in the picture so I was expecting that but still thought it would have been packaged better for shipping.

    Got the BluRay as an upgrade to my old DVD copy. Imagine my surprise to find that the image quality of the BluRay is MUCH worse than my old DVD ! Blu

    Got the BluRay as an upgrade to my old DVD copy. Imagine my surprise to find that the image quality of the BluRay is MUCH worse than my old DVD ! BluRay image is much softer and grainier. Warner must’ve used a horrible master for the blu ray. I compared them both using a Panasonic UPB-9000 player and Sony 83A90J TV.

    These Monstrous Ants Are No Picnic !!

    "Them" is one of the best creature features of the 1950s. The story is great, the giant ants are convincing, and it has some of the best actors in old Hollywood, giving us powerhouse performances. This is a real standout movie in the sci-fi/horror genre. It's also one of the first movies to warn the world of the horrors of nuclear fallout. It inspired dozens of other films to do the same. I wanted a BLU-RAY DVD of this one for superior picture & sound. It's a winner.

    Them

    One of the early big budget SciFi movies about the effects of nuclear tests. The cast is great, the plot is well thought out. Watch for appearances of actors who will go on to bigger roles in the future. Even though the film is B&W it is very enjoyable.

    Blu Ray 1954 Black and white movie "Them"

    This is a classic science fiction movie that I saw when I was a teen age kid. It is the story of giant ants that evolved due to the nuclear testing in White Sands NM. Special effects were hard to do those days. Blood and gore were left out also. However the plot was great, suspense, acting were also good. I had borrowed the DVD and watched it before and found it on e-bay. However, it was a Blu Ray version. (Of an old B&W movie?) Well, folks, I could see that the NM State Policeman James Whitmore needed a haircut. This Blu Ray is something special and will be viewed by my friends in the near future. GREAT PRODUCT!

    Good Blu Ray of Classic

    One of the best old B-Movie horror films. Blu ray has a noticeable enhancement.
