    Underland, A deep time journey.

    This book by R. Macfarlane, gave me a different perspective on the vast subterranean beneath our feet. Wonderfully written and well researched. I now have a vivid idea and feel like I have experienced a world that I would most likely never have had without reading this book. Powerful writing about the natural world and the human impact upon it without being depressing or filled with despair. An honest narrative that fills you with a sense awe for our planet and it’s power.

    Heavy with much to consider

    There was far more penned in and underlined segments throughout the entire book than usual; very distracting. The previous owner must have gotten carried away beyond anything I've encountered. Kind of messed up the reading for me.
