Use the Hoka Bondi 8 series if you are using shoes for work ...not running.
I work in healthcare and education. I am on my feet for hours on end. By mistake, I bought the Gaviota 4 instead of another Bondi series. I quickly learned the the Gaviota 4 is really made for runners who want responsiveness; the Bondi series is made for runners who want max cushioning. What I want...and need...as someone who is not a runner...is cushioning. My back can tell the difference in the shoes. So, my Gaviota's are a cute shoe...but I will have to buy another Bondi to save my hips, lower back, and knees while I a walk and stand at work.
