Ground Breaking Cinema
Accolades touting superior acting and production values are very well documented for this film, and deservedly so. Hearing of the lost camera negative, the best possible image was derived from fine grain masters from various sources, says Wellesnet.com. Blu-ray will deliver the best image results over the DVD release, and sources say a 4K disc won't offer a discernible image difference. The 4K disc, it is mentioned has an improved sound element. I am overall very pleased with my purchase of the blu-ray release of "Citizen Kane" and recommend it for your collection.

For decades film scholars have considered Citizen Kane to be one of the best films ever made. A thought provoking somber work. Best suited for mature minds ages 12 and above.
