Great grill, easy to install, adds to the over appearance of my Tacoma XP.

Perfect fit and look, harsh price for a piece of plastic.
Nothing like an OEM product for your truck, that being said, it is a lot of money for a piece of plastic. This is the grill Toyota should put on all of their Tacomas. Factory Grill

Improve the look of your truck.
Replacing the chrome grille of my TRD Off Road with this Pro grille was simple and quick. There are plenty of videos on line to show you how. The hardest part is being careful not to break the tabs on the original grille insert when removing it from the surround, in case you want to reuse or sell it. Once the original grille insert is removed, this Pro grille insert snaps perfectly into place and remounting the new assembly back on to the truck is a breeze. It may be an expensive piece of plastic but is does appear to be good quality. Most importantly though, it totally transforms and improves the look of the truck. An expensive piece of plastic, but worth it
Is the TRD PRO Grille Insert worth this amount of money, rationally speaking? No. Is it a purchase I regret? Most definitely not. Replacing out the stock chrome grill for this matte black insert changes the entire demeanor and presence of the Tacoma TRD Off-Road, adding a dark aggressive glare up front while also toning down the annoyingly mismatched contrast of the chrome components. My black Tacoma seems an entirely new truck since replacing. The grill itself is easy to install, MUCH easier to install than removing the original grill from the clips that hold into place. I recommend watching YouTube vids of installations not just by professionals, but also normal owners to get a more reasonable idea of the process. But once everything is removed and this grill is inserted, all the blood, sweat, and swearing will soon be forgotten...this is the best piece of expensive plastic I've ever purchased.

Worked fine on my 2018 with Radar Sensor
I just installed this grille on my 2018 Tacoma with the radar sensor, and it worked perfectly. I knew it would, because it is an OEM Pro Grille and the 2017 is exactly the same as the 2018 except that it costs twice as much and has a filler part that must be removed before installing the sensor. Why pay more? Because Toyota won't sell the 2018 Grille to you unless you have a 2018 Tacoma Pro. I'm writing this review because the seller for some reason warns that it will not fit, but he's wrong. In addition to the grille you have to buy the "garnish" ($55), which is a plexiglass piece that covers the sensor and protects it from the weather. I also purchased the proper sensor wire ($18), that is set up for routing on the Pro Grille, but most people just use the exiting wire and route it a little differently. So that is optional. Both these parts are available from a Toyota dealer... it's just the grille that they've decided to try to keep exclusive. Mine came with all the lettering in place. Looks great, easy to install!
This new grille looks awesome on my Tacoma TRD. I admittedly am not very handy, however this was very easy to install, especially if you use pliers to loosen the plastic tabs.

Dressing Down
Purchased the TRD grille which is more subdued and more classic looking than the two piece chrome grille that came on my TRD 4X4 Off-Road. Big improvement in looks, easy install (youtube videos were helpful) and it was delivered promptly. It's overpriced for what is essentially a piece of plastic, but it is a genuine Toyota part. Cheaper reproductions are available.

Improves the Tacoma look 1000%
I wanted the "Pro" look but the Tacoma Pro price tag was ridiculous! After getting my Off Road I found replacement grills were available but this was the most "reasonable" price I found. Some places were 20 to 30 percent more$$. It really improved the look of the truck. Later I added some red vinyl letters to the TOYOTA badge. The red lettering is a personal preference but I think it looks better.

Great quality
I was skeptical with the price being as low as it is but took the chance anyway... glad I did!!! The quality of the grill is spectacular, the packaging for the grill was great and the communication (I'm big on communication) was spot on. Every time I asked a question I got a response in a timely matter. Very very pleased with everything
