Blu-raw is not the best quality
I was looking forward to seeing High Road to China again. It had been a long time and I was looking forward to the beauty of the scenery and the humor. Unfortunately I found the Blu-ray disc a bit washed out and as a result the beautiful scenery was turned into mundane background. The humor of the film was also lost. The humor in this case was the sound. The voices were all off pitch and Tom Selleck’s voice was so high it missed all of his inflections. This Blu-ray is ok but not of the quality that I would have expected. It did however leave me very disappointed.

Great adventure film in awesome blu ray
I actually saw this film when it first came out in the theater. I enjoyed it then and thought a blu ray would be great. Now, it had been a long time since I had first seen it and may have rented it once.... so a blu ray experience with surround sound was to looked forward to. However, the experience went beyond my expectations. The transfer is great and the sound incredible but it is the actual film that proves to go beyond expectations. I am now enthralled with period pieces and this film has some amazing flying scenes. The entire cast is quite cap tivating and the director happens to be the same one to two other films I love, Kelley's Heroes and Where Eagles Dare. This is one of those films that make you appreciate a time before CGI.

MAJOR UNDERAPPRECIATED MOVIE ON BLU-RAY, a must see on blu-ray !!!
Could be one of the most underrated movies of all time ! In my top five ! Bess Armstrong shows her talent ! (best of her career) Tom S. was perfect for his part ! Beautiful scenery ! Great action, and humor, sassy conversation! A "Must see" on Blu-ray!!!!!!!!!
