Four Copies And Counting ! !
Looking for a great gift for someone special ?? Probably one of the best movies of this year (2020) , "The Last Full Measure" never got much exposure on the 'big screens' across America but it is becoming a classic in it's own right. If you or someone you know has ever served in any branch of the military then you MUST see this film. The cast is exceptional and the story line is valid, offering an insight into the difference in values between civilian bureaucrats and those who have served My copies are constantly out on loan to fellow vets and their families, many of whom then ordered their own copy. Movie Review
This is a very excellent true story about Vietnam War Army Veterans, who had been rescued by an Air Force Pararescue Airman 30 years earlier. They were steadfast is pursuing a Medal of Honor for the deceased hero, and the character of the driven, self centered Dept of Defense worker is transformed through his interactions with the hero’s parents and the Veterans he interviewed. Touching, inspirational, and a perfect respite from our pandemic "storm."
I sat in my den tonight to watch The Last Full Measure for the first time. I wept as I was incredibly touched by this film whose actors played their roles magnificently. Most were the "big name" actors, chosen perfectly for their parts. The story line of this true story depicts the hell that war elicits both during and following the actual battles. The Vietnam War was the focus with special attention given to one young medic who gave his all (the last full measure) for his comrades/country. Amazingly gripping true story
