Filled with great in-depth footnote material that is very education and appreciated
The only thing I wish this BIble had were tabs for each of the books of the Bible as well as ribbon page holders. Great contextual resource
The Cultural Backgrounds Study Bible was recommended by a friend. I got it for my husband as a gift, thinking that if he didn't like it, I probably would, so it was a safe bet. My husband won't put it down! He loves how it provides information on all the details that give significance to the scripture based on the context of the culture. He says, "It's an awesome resource to immerse yourself in 1st century culture and is very helpful to see the world that the Bible was written in." Very good study bible from Zondervan
This bible is very good for biblical Study from a cultural biblical perspective connected to biblical events though time. The bible is publidhed by Zondervan . The Bible has plenty of explanatory notes for corect biblical study, pictures that are from biblical cultural artefacts, very good concordance, corect biblical maps , references and a very good preface to this particular New International Version Study Bible.
