Good control
Other gas powered trimmers I have used were hard to control. They either are all gas running wide open or not enough gas and running too slow. That problem would make it difficult too hold the head where you want to cut. Not this one. Also, it runs well, and is easy to start. The only down side I experienced was when it's cold, you have to adjust the coke to get it to run with enough power to cut. Otherwise it bogs down. That even holds true after using it for some time, when the outside temperature is cool. Which would not be a problem except the virbration of the machine would cause the choke to back off the setting needed to make it run well. Great Product Quality for a Refurbished Power Tool
I have owned this same model before, but purchased it new. Out of the box the refurbished 128LD unit looks new, there are a couple of blemishes on it but it is clean and when you put gas in it, it doesn't leak which I was worried about. Put gas mix in it, I do use the Husqvarna oil to keep it all stock it fired right up and everything worked fine. I would suggest after the string that it comes with has been all used up to go with a better quality string. About the only thing I did do was to tighten up the motor to bar connection as it was alittle loose but so far it is working fine. Sweet Little Weed Eater
Runs like a champ, one pull after pumping 10 times started right up ran great, there is plastic on it but most have it nowadays! sweet little weed eater might buy another who knows . I ran it for an hour with synthetic oil had no problems half throttle tearing up tall 4’ thick green grass, great product Husky did nice job refurbishing weed eater. Came with not one scratch!!!! Thinking about buying another. I have serviced weed eaters for years just about every make and model and this one runs well for refurbished product.... Quality is pretty good its basically a commercial weed eater with a few small changes like the ergonomic handle which one could get full blade kit and turn it into a commercial trimmer they all have chrome cylinder and pretty much the same engine parts just because they use a bit of plastic does not mean its not a quality trimmer!! Excellent tool to have
I have been using the Echo weedeater for 21 years. It is still running but I bought the refurbished Husqvarna for its lower price. This refurbished unit is in excellent like-new condition. Price is significantly lower than a new Echo 225. However, there are a few cons, including: 1) It is heavier than the Echo. 2) The huge spinner head shield was an obstruction when I attempted to use it to edge. I got rid of it, which also lightened the unit a little. The Echo shield was much smaller but I also got rid of it. 3) Despite of being new and it is 28cc versus the Echo 21cc, this unit burns fuel faster than the Echo. 4) Last is the task of loading the string. It is not as easy and efficient as with the Echo. The pro with the Husqvarna is it takes only two pulls to start versus the Echo (with new carburetor) taking at least five. Perhaps that is due to the Echo 20 years of service? For the price I have no regret and would buy the Husqvarna again. Update: It has been five months since I bought this trimmer. It has performed flawlessly. It seems to run at higher RPM now than when it was brand new. I absolutely love this tool and now bump it to five stars.Bestätigter Kauf: Ja

Great Performer!!!
I've had many weed whacker's over the years and this one is right up there with it's cutting performance. It's a little heavy, wish the shaft were longer and if you use it to edge and turn it vertical the gas will leak on unit so you are restricted there and almost have to get the edger attachment which is another story because there is not one made by this brand that is compatible with this model but after much research there is a universal edger out there that will work with this model. Whack a weed
After years of fighting with a cheapo gas trimmer, which was very hard to start, no matter what, I splurged on a better quality Husqvarna, and the very first time, it was hard to start, but ever since, easy, hot or cold. Save money and great product!
You really can't go wrong on these refurbished as they are like brand new when you get them. Most of them are sent back to the factory for minor adjustments. Mainly because the consumer doesn't know how to operate something or the carburetor needed a minor adjustment. I bought many of these so far and they save me about $60 if I buy them brand new locally. I like the Husqvarna as it has plenty of power is easy to start easy to operate lightweight and the trigger is positioned properly for my hand. The split boom or shaft is great as it will take many attachments that you can find at most local hardware stores home improvement stores and online. keep in mind occasionally you do get one that might be messed up so remember you to keep your box and test before you throw away your box!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Generalüberholt

Great trimmer, Great quality

Great - The Only Thing...
The first one I bought had the bottom unit self destruct at the connect-disconnect between the power unit and the head unit. I still liked it enough to try another one....
