It speaks for itself!!
The Mark of Zorro (1940) version is one of my all-time favorite movies and when I saw it was on Blu-ray I decided to buy it. I am disappointed in this movie because the picture quality did not seem at all like Blu-ray. At times throughout the movie the picture was snowy and jumped around and did not look at all like a Blu-ray movie should. I also thought it was a color version but it was not and that was a disappointment too. I'll be more cautious if I ever decide to buy a movie on Ebay again.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Good Old Hollywood Stuff

The Mark of Zorro BLU-RAY Rouben Mamoulian (DIR) 1940
Superbly directed, classic, action film. My dad's a classic film buff, and that has apparently rubbed off onto me too. I admire the Mark of Zorro' cinematography, acting and writing. It's right up there with such classics as The Adventures of Robinhood, although I think Robinhood is a better film overall. The picture quality is a noticeable step up from the DVD, although I haven't made a side by side comparison. The detail and contrast appears sharper and more lifelike. The sound is about the same. It's very old film, so I'm not sure they could get any more quality out of the restoration than this with whatever film they have. I was very pleased. I personally think blu-ray is the end of the line for most classic movies, and I wont be upgrading to 4k if that ever becomes available for whatever minuscule improvements there could be.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
