A great film that looks great on blu-ray
I also have the blu-ray of "Howard's End" that was issued a few years ago by the Criterion Collection. I'm not sophisticated enough to tell if there was major differences in picture or sound quality; the CC edition looks and sounds pretty darn good to me. However, this new blu-ray does include a very interesting commentary that was not on the previous release, which is why I bought it. If you love this movie as much as I do, then either edition will probably satisfy you.
