Magical Movie
I watch this every year. Its a charming Christmas movie that your family would Enjoy! Wish there were more like it!! I would recommend it to everyone that loves classic family movies.

Old favorite

A Great Christmas Movie That Should Not Be Missed!
Wonderful presentation of a classic Christmas movie that is a favorite of mine. Our old VHS tape player died, so it was time to replace the VHS tape of this movie with the DVD version. We were happy to find this movie available on DVD. The snow-laden neighborhood and downtown scenes remind me so much of my childhood, which were spent growing up in the middle section of this country, and the story line has such a great message.

Wonderful Christmas Movie
A mixture of It's a Wonderful Life with the great Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed, coupled with a little magic like you get In the Hallmark original North pole, and of course all of the magical feelings we feel at Christmas, you tie that up with that one little poor child like in Polar Express, then top that off with the excellent as usual acting of Mary Steenbergun and you have One Magic Christmas. Love this Movie

Okay for One-Time Viewing
This is a "different" kind of Christmas movie that definitely speaks directly to modern-day family problems. But I didn't find it "inspiring" in any way. Too much time was spent on the negative side (the difficulties involved with financial lack and lack of concern for the feelings of others) and too little time on the positive solution and on the "causes" of the problems (which would lead to a "keepsake" kind of message). I enjoyed seeing it once but would not care to view it again or to recommend it to anyone I know. The characters were believable enough, given that there was a "magical" environment involved, but I was hoping for something with a little more depth of meaning.

Superb Christmas Movie to put you in the Christmas Spirit
Loved this movie from the first time we saw it on VHS years ago! Just glad we found one still hanging around on dvd. Very pleased with it. Already have watched it with different family members twice since it arrived!!
