JT still has it
Ya gotta love JT. He's a survivor. Songs are new and great. Music and arrangements are perfect. Makes for a great listen.

James Taylor never fails!
As a songwriter myself, I am a staunch believer in the good ones getting better as they grow older. James Taylor is a happy case of this being abundantly true, not only about his songwriting but about the timbre of his voice as well. Anyone for whom JT's name automatically pushes an inner nostalgia button should hear this album, AND Octiober Road, AND New Moon Shine, AND....well you get the picture. James Taylor's music continues to mature and sweeten like sonic fine wine. And Before This World is only the latest example of many. The accompanying DVD of the making of this album is a thoroughly enjoyable and educational peek into his writing and recording processes, as well as his rapport with his long-standing world class band and background singers. Not to mention his family! Make time for this album. Just do it!
