The Sennheiser MK 4 is a small-scale microphone intended for use in musical settings. The unit features a full metal housing and a true condenser design. The Sennheiser microphone uses a large-diaphragm 1-inch capsule and a 24-karat gold-plated diaphragm. The capsule is shock-mounted internally to minimize noise that is structure-borne. The pick-up pattern for the music microphone is Cardioid. The minimum frequency response for the unit is 20 Hz with a maximum frequency response of 20 kHz. Sensitivity for the Sennheiser MK 4 is 25 mV/Pa with 140 dB maximum passive sound pressure level (passive). The unit has an equivalent noise level of 10 dB and a dynamic range of 130 dB. It’s Sennheiser…
It’s a Sennheiser with Neumann know how packed inside. It’s hot. It’s full. It makes my voice sound like it should. I’m using it to record my next audiobook.

After using a Neumann TLM 103
My wife and I use the Neumann TLM 103 for all of our recordings and this mic sounds like it in quality! Very good mic!
