Sylvester Opened his own package
When my catnip bananas arrived they came in a dark plastic sealed bag. I set it on the dining room table to go something and when I got back my one cat, Sylvester, started opening up the package with his teeth and claws. Yeowww! Bananas are the best!
My cats come from other rooms when the bananas are pulled from packaging to get their new toy. They caress it for hours. I have never seen a cat nip filled toy hypnotize a cat like the Yeowww! YEOWWW banana shaped toy

Not very much for the cats to smell.

Awesome cat toy

Great Toy for Old Lazy Cat
I adopted a 12 year old cat 2 years ago. She had no interest in toys or playing but I bought this banana last year and she was interested in rubbing her face on it, then rubbing her paw on her face, then licking her paw.That's as close as she comes to playing. Recently, I accidentally put the banana in the washer and dryer. That didn't work out well, so I bought a new one right away.
