Great source of inspiration
Great book, very informative and abundantly illustrated on Art Deco, a design style and historical era that I am especially interested in. The authors have chosen designs that are more representative of daily life (posters, advertisements, small objects) than fine art in several European countries, including France, Britain, Germany, Holland, Spain, and Italy. Such decorative crafts have not been studied as extensively as other important Art Deco creations, so this book (published separately in Europe and in the US with same contents) fills a gap and helps understand the Deco creative process better. Also a great source of inspiration for my own artistic ventures.
