An excellent and compelling revisionist view of the early XX century and its protagonists
If you are a Churchill worshiper, you will not enjoy reading this well-written book. If you are open minded you may find plenty here to agree with. Pat Buchanan boldly states that Churchill presided over the decline of the British Empire and that he was to a large degree responsible for this decline. While this is written from American perspective, it is a well researched and clearly argued text. Much recommended.
