The Diet: 4 Easy Steps to Permanent Weight Loss Phase one: Attack Using Dr. Dukan's True Weight calculator, dieters determine a reasonable and healthy weight loss goal. Then they begin the Dukan Attack phase a two-to-seven-day period during which only unlimited lean protein and a daily Oat bran galette (or pancake) are consumed and dramatic weight loss is achieved. Phase Two: Cruise Dieters alternate days of unlimited lean protein with days of protein combined with healthful vegetables until they reach their True Weight. Phase Three: Consolidation Dieters stay on this phase for 5 days for every pound lost. At this point the diet allows unlimited protein and vegetables, and other foods (such as cheese and bread) are reintroduced. Dieters are also allowed two weekly celebration meals to stave off boredom. Phase Four: Stabilization This is the maintenance portion of the plan, in which followers are allowed to eat whatever they like without regaining weight - provided that they follow 3 unbreakable rules including eating only unlimited lean protein one set day per week. It is vintage but it looks brand new, which is so nice!It was packaged very well and shipped quickly through USPS. I bought it on June 11,it was shipped same day and arrived June 20.     A Bible for your dieting efforts

    I saw this book recommended by Jeri Black on Youtube and I was compelled to buy it. A steal considering she said she bought it for $30.00. I had hit a limit with my own dieting efforts and for one month and now can plunge further. It is not easy. It takes effort and will power at first but later you will feel comfortable and less deprived.

    Absolutely the best diet book I have ever encountered

    Dukan has a sensible approach to losing weight, and a plan to help you develop a lifelong eating strategy. His procedures really work. He also includes recipes and many tips.

    A diet that really work without extra digging in you pockets.

    I think this is one of the best diets i have ever see. No costly pills or tape and you can get evey thing at the store. first 2-3 days was the hardest but you adapt fast and loose. I, 10lbs lighter and still going strong on it.

    very informative

    i was curious about this diet because my friend was telling me about it. i bought this book so i could do it the right way. i learned the principles behind it and the step by step on what to eat. sample menu as well. i would recommend it.
