Just OK, nothing like The Thin Man series.
The quality of the movie to DVD was fine but I expected so much more out of the movie. I'm a huge fan of William Powell and as usual he's excellent here but Jean Arthur added zero to the movie. Between her acting and poorly written character she could have not appeared in the movie and it would have been fine. It's a hard ask to compare a movie couple to Nick and Nora but I expected better chemistry from the lead actors.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Good, but I've seen better

Fun film

I'm a fool for the sluething of William Powell and he was paired perfectly with Ms. Arthur.
There were plenty of chuckles, not full out laughs, but chuckles, mind you, through out this little farce.

1 Star for Poor Quality DVR.
Such a shame WB has started selling DVR DVDs. The movie freezes up and there is one 10 minute segment that is not watchable. Moreover, you can't RW or FFWD; only search by scene selection which doesn't work so hot either. A fantastic movie copied to cheap DVR.
