Synopsis
The classic novelization of one of Broadway's most enduring and beloved musicals, West Side Story. Maria is young and innocent and has never known love--until Tony. And Tony, searching for life beyond the savagery of the streets, has discovered love for the first time with her, too. But Maria's brother is the leader of the Sharks and Tony had once led the rival Jets. Now, both gangs are claiming the same turf and with tensions rising to the point of explosion, it seems there is no way to stop a rumble. Tony promised Maria that he would stay out of it. But will he be able to keep his word or will their newfound love be destroyed by violence or even death? Evocative and unforgettable, this novelization brings out all of the depth, drama, and beauty of one of the most enduring stories in the history of American theater., From the silver screen to the Great White Way--one of the greatest stories of all time. They came together through love but violence threatened to tear them apart. Maria was young and innocent and had never known love--until Tony. And he, who had been seeking something beyond the savagery of the streets, discovered it with her. But Maria's brother was leader of the Sharks and Tony had once led the rival Jets. Now both gangs were claiming the same turf. Tony promised Maria that he would stay out of it. Would he be able to keep his word? Or would their newfound love be destroyed by sudden death?

- o***u (1599)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzter MonatBestätigter KaufMUCH BETTER THAN DESCRIBED!! It's like a brand new book but they only listed it as "good" so I'm very impressed and happy about my order! The service was fast and easy, they gave me an incredible offer I couldn't refuse, and I greatly appreciate it! The book looks like it came right from the store so it looks great, so great quality overall! Shipping was fast & they packaged it per the norm for book stores so everything was A++++. - a***9 (75)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzter MonatBestätigter KaufI would DEFINITELY purchase from this seller again. Seller might want to add more pics and better description because there was a tear on the back dust jacket that wasn’t mentioned. Could’ve happened during shipping so I’m not holding it against the seller. I fixed with tape on the inside of jacket. No harm/no foul. The seller had a more than generous price for this book + free shipping. NO complaints. Hence, I would purchase from this seller again without hesitation.
