A Solid and Enduring Series Worth a Second Viewing
A return viewing of Six Feet Under confirms that it was one of the best drama series on HBO. Strong characters work out their lives in a unique setting that provides a subtext on death and dying through the eyes of the Fisher family who own a funeral home. The series begins with the death of the senior Fisher who leaves two sons, a daughter and a widow to sort out the business and come to grips with their own complicated lives. That’s the only season I watch.
