Worth the price.
I used this product for years and years when it was called Aqua Glycolic. When the packaging changed and the ingredient deck was listed in a different order the price went WAY up. I "rebelled" by switching to Alpha Skincare (which used to be called Alpha Hydrox). The Alpha Skincare did not sink in very well and left my skin with an uncomfortable coating. So, I called the Mederma people and asked about the change in ingredients since it looked like the percentage of glycolic acid went way way down on the list. The company assured me that it is the exact same percentage and formula as before, but that now they list their ingredients by the European standards, whatever that means. She said that in cosmetics, the ingredients, by law, do not have to be listed from high to low like we are used to seeing in food products. Anyway, I ordered the Mederma and I am very pleased. It seems to be the exact same product that I used for many years. It sinks in very well and does not leave me with a greasy or heavy feeling. I do use this on my face as well as my arms and I can apply makeup without a problem. I find that it works better than much more expensive products. Just compare the price per ounce with some other products. So, although I am not at all pleased with the huge price increase I will continue to use the Mederma because it actually works. Best Handrcream Ever!
Best handcream ever and I have tried many. Soaks in quickly, lasts all day, repairs hand and finger "injuries" like cracked skin, paper cuts, hangnails faster and more thoroughly than any other product.
