Outstanding Edition - but Improvable
The only thing better than this abridged edition of the incomparable Matthew Henry's Commentary would be a complete and un-abridged edition. So precious and enlightening are Henry's words, so concise is his analysis and coverage of the KJV of the Bible, that in this case, more would definitely be better. Alas, more would mean a HUGE volume, (this is already at about the limit of what is comfortable in the hands) or a multi-volume set. But for a one-volume edition, this is truly outstanding in every way. This book has, in a very short time, become indispensable for Bible understanding and study. I cannot imagine doing without Henry's Commentary now that I have tasted the richness of this monumental work. Much Need Booik to Have for Your Study of The Word of God
If you are a person that Loves to study The Word of God this book is so resourceful. Matthew Henry is so knowledgeable and puts his wording in easy and understanding ways. Sunday School reference book
