    I received the item ordered but it was damaged. It came in a thin box with a couple pieces of bubble wrap stuck on top of it. It was obvious the item was broken upon packaging as pieces of the plastic were missing. I messaged the seller with pictures. They took a bit to respond; asking if I wanted them to send a replacement. I asked that they do so and what I should do with the broken item. I have not yet received further response. Feels like they could have been clearer with me to begin with.

    Only If You're Ok with (Partially) Made In China.

    Gates has always made great belts and when I saw that they had a complete kit to redo the timing belt, water pump and related components on my 3.5 Honda, it looked like a good deal. My issue now that I've examined the parts is that the hydraulic tensioner is Made in China and the water pump likely is too (no COO). Are they long haul reliable or not? Judging from the online reviews, I concluded I'd be better off staying away. While Gates offers a good guarantee, it does not cover the high labor cost to access the parts once installed. My mechanic agrees with my call and said he uses only OEM parts on this job. Bought Aisen brand to replace the pump and tensioner and just chalked it up to experience, figuring it's better to be safe than sorry. It was a tough decision all the same because ...

    2010 Accord timing belt kit with water pump

    Exact fit for all parts in the kit. Pulleys are same brand as what Honda installed when car was built. Hydraulic tensioner and water pump with gasket are included in the kit. Belt is premium grade. Just bolt on & go!! Very important to verify the application before ordering, then you will be ok.

    TCKWP329 Engine Timing Belt Kit With Water Pump

    I have changed out 4 timing belts on the Honda accord v-6 in the past year. Have used this Gates kit each time and have had no problems. Would highly recommend using a kit instead of changing out one piece at a time due to the amount of labor involved. Everything is included to complete the task except the knowledge and tools that will be required. I would also recommend that you change out the serpentine belt at the same time and you will be ready to roll for another hundred thousand! Steve VA

    Kit was good quality. Came with the updated pulley shim, and great instructions. I have installed many kits, but I put this kit in my family car. Trusted parts at a great price.

    Buy only name brand on timing kits

    I purchased this gates kit due to trial and error I purchased a cheaper no name brand from Ebay prior and recently went to put it in the tentioner went thank God my motor was not damaged I than went and purchased this gates belt kit and no problems I have 2 Saturn Vue SUV with the 3.5 motor from Honda and this kit is OEM.
